Eva Warigia is part of New Forests’ corporate investor relations team and is the lead for capital raising and client relationship for New Forests’ Africa Forestry Impact Platform (AFIP).

In her role, Eva is responsible for investor engagement for fund commitment into AFIP, a permanent capital vehicle investing in natural assets and nature- based strategies across sub- Saharan Africa. She is also responsible for fundraising of commingled funds and other co- investment opportunities on behalf of New Forests Africa, as well as overseeing fund reporting for all New Forests’ Africa investment products.

Eva's experience spans 13 years working in investor relations, corporate communication and corporate strategy development across Africa. She has served as an investor relations consultant, where she led investor engagement strategies for public companies and private equity funds.

Prior to joining New Forests, Eva was the CEO of the East Africa Venture Capital Association.
