Mary Lavelle is an Investment Management partner at international law firm Akin Gump and specialises in fund formation and secondary transactions. She has extensive experience advising investment managers both in the U.K. and internationally on a broad range of investment fund formation and asset management matters, and has over 10 years’ of experience working on some of the largest and most complex secondary transactions and fund restructurings, including transactions concerning the sale or acquisition of portfolios comprised of fund interests, direct investments, real estate assets and nonperforming loans.
