Irene was born and educated in Scotland before going to Oxford where she read law. She then worked in London as a commercial property lawyer before moving to Monaco over 30 years ago to continue as a private client lawyer there.

Three children and some years later, Irene left the law to set up Savills Monaco with her business partner, Jean- Claude Caputo. For the last 12 years, she has acted as co-managing partner of Savills Monaco.
